RE/MAX opened it's doors in Medicine Hat in 1980, and it employed nine sales staff.
Medalta Realty was purchased in 1983 by John MacLaren and partners who in turn purchased the RE/MAX office in 1985 and became RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate. They in turn sold the franchise agency to the current Brokerage/Owner, Bert Kleis, in 1990.
The agency has continued from its beginning to present the highest standard of professional business ethics and sales staff in the entire real estate industry in Medicine Hat.
In 1990, the sales office of Group One Realty merged their sales staff and Broker/Designate Pete Vanderham with RE/MAX Medalta, to make this franchise the strongest office in the Medicine Hat region.
We have continued to be a leading real estate office in the local MLS board system in Medicine Hat.
